The Symbol For Indian Currency

This is the symbol for Indian currency. It is really looking good. This new Indian currency symbol is designed by Bombay IIT post-graduate D Udaya Kumar and it was officially approved by the Indian cabinet. It is a perfect blend of Indian and roman letters - capital 'R' and Devanagri 'Ra' which represents rupaiah, to appeal to international and Indian audiences.

"It's a big statement on the Indian currency... The symbol would lend a distinctive character and identity to the currency and further highlight the strength and global face of the Indian economy," Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni told reporters after the cabinet meeting.

This symbol is not used to print on the currency notes and coins, it is just included in the “Unicode Standard” and major scripts of world in order to make sure that it is easily displayed and printed in the electronic and print media.

Among various currency notes, the only symbol printed on the notes is pound sterling. Text data can be interchanged globally by using Unicode language without any conflicts. After incorporation in global and Indian codes, this symbol can be used by all people and entities within or outside the country.

This symbol will be adapted in a span of six months in the country and within 18-24 months across the globe. Adding the symbol will feature on computer keyboards and software for global use.

Finally our currency symbol will join the elite club of currencies such as British pound sterling, US dollar, Japanese Yen and Euro that have a clear distinguishing identity. This new icon for Indian currency is likely to create a brand around 1.2 trillion dollar economy of the nation.

Person’s Death Because Of Laptop Use On The Bed!

It’s true; a couple lost their 25 year old son, Arun Gopal Ratnam in a fire at home. The person is graduated with MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Two weeks earlier, he had come home for a while, had lunch with his dad and decided to go back to clean up his hostel room.

His father told him to wait, to meet his mother. Arun decided to wait and took a nap while waiting for his mother. After some time, Arun’s neighbours saw a black smoke coming from the house and called 911. But unfortunately Arun has died and the case has taken several days of investigation to find out the cause of death.

After several days, it was determined that the fire was caused by the laptop resting on the bed. When you use laptop on the bed, cooling fan doesn’t receive the air to cool the system and that is reason for fire production. Arun didn’t even get out of the bed, because he died of breathing carbon monoxide.

Most of us have a habit of using the laptop while in bed. Even after reading the post, i think you people don’t use your laptops while in bed.

The risk is real, so make follow it as a rule and don’t use the laptop on bed or keep laptop on bed with pillows and blankets around.

A Tragedy With Contact Lenses

Hello everybody... I have something that is very important to tell you. A 21 year old guy who used to wear contact lenses has met with a great tragedy.

In a barbeque event, he has stared at fire charcoals constantly for 2-3 minutes. After a few minutes, he started screaming for help and move around rapidly, and jumping up and down. Everybody in the party surprised with the way he was doing.

Finally he was admitted in the hospital and the doctor was told that he will be blind permanently due to the contact lenses that had worn. These lenses were melted because of the high heat produced from charcoal fire.

SO, DON’T WEAR CONTACT LENSES WHERE OVERHEATING AND FLAMES ARE CONCERNED... OR WHILE COOKING...!

Real Facts!

Mobile Phone Usage:
Do not keep your mobile closer to your ears until answered by the recipient. It would use maximum signaling power after you dial, which is nearly equalent to 2watts = 33dbi. So Be Careful. And use your left ear while talking on mobile device. If you use the right ear it may affect your brain directly. It’s a true fact from Apollo medical team.

Cotton Ear Buds:
Do not show kindness on to the people selling ear buds on roadside or at traffic signals. Be cautious on buying those ear bud packs at roadside. Cotton using to made those buds that has already been used in hospitals. They collect all the dirty, blood and pus filled cotton and wash it, bleach that and use this cotton to make ear buds. This may cause you to get the disease “Herpes Zoster Oticus” (a viral infection of the inner, middle, and external ear).

So please Be Aware of it! And make your well wishers be aware of them.
